Sit-in

Le sit-in est une méthode d'intervention directe qui consiste à s'asseoir sur la voie publique, dans un édifice public ou un établissement privé et à rester le plus longtemps possible sur les lieux. Il peut s'agir d'une manifestation assise ayant pour objectif d'interpeller l'opinion et les pouvoirs publics sur telle situation d'injustice.

Le sit-in permet une occupation peu coûteuse du terrain, offre un lieu facile à photographier et à filmer, et est difficile à nettoyer par les forces de l'ordre.
