Nintendo Space World
Le Nintendo Space World (appelé Shoshinkai jusqu'en 1996) était un salon de jeux vidéo organisé chaque année par Nintendo au Japon aux alentours du mois d'août. La première édition de ce salon avait eu lieu en 1989. Ce salon était organisé dans le but de présenter les nouveaux jeux et les nouvelles consoles de la firme. Aujourd'hui le Space World n'existe plus car Nintendo préfère se concentrer sur l'E3. La dernière édition de ce salon s'est déroulée en août 2001.
Parmi les annonces et jeux présentés au Space World on peut citer la Nintendo 64 en 1995, le 64DD et la première démo jouable de The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time en 1997, la GameCube en 2000 et le controversé The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker en 2001.
