Addac
Addac (ou Attac) est un chef alain du Ve siècle, quelquefois considéré comme un roi (plutôt un roitelet). Successeur de Respendial, il dirige les clans alains de l'Hispanie romaine (la péninsule ibérique actuelle), qui ont reçu comme territoires la Lusitanie et la Carthaginoise. En 418, l'empereur romain Honorius envoie dans la péninsule ibérique les Wisigoths alors dirigés par le roi Wallia, pour combattre Hasdings, Sillings, Suèves, et les Alains de Addac. Ce dernier, à la tête de troupes probablement peu nombreuses[1], est sévèrement battu dans le pays des Tartessiens (près de Gibraltar), et il trouve la mort dans la bataille. Les Alains survivants se mettent alors sous l'autorité du roi des Hasdings, Gundéric.

- ↑ Lors du passage du Rhin gelé à l'hiver 406-407 avec d'autres barbares, les Alains ne devaient pas être plus de quelques dizaines de milliers d'individus, par la suite divisés en plusieurs groupes.
