Satay de poulet au Ponorogo, Indonésie.
Le saté en indonésien, ou satay en malais de Malaisie, est un plat malais d'Indonésie et de Malaisie. Il s'agit de petits morceaux de poulet ou de bœuf braisés et mis en brochette. Il est servi accompagné de concombre émincé, de cubes de riz compacté, d'oignons crus et de la fameuse sauce satay. Suite à la colonisation de l'Indonésie par les Pays-Bas, ce plat est désormais extrêmement répandu dans les établissements de restauration rapide néerlandais, la sauce satay y est régulièrement utilisée en accompagnement de frites.
