At Folsom Prison est un album live enregistré le 13 janvier 1968 à la prison de Folsom par Johnny Cash. Cet album est considéré comme l'un des plus grands albums country de tous les temps.
La dernière chanson sur l'album a été écrite par Glen Sherley, l'un des prisonniers.
Les cris des prisonniers, ainsi que les appels de l'administration sont audibles pendant l'enregistrement. Johnny Cash donne l'impression de sympathiser avec les prisonniers pendant l'enregistrement. June Carter vient chanter dans quelques chansons. Cependant, selon Michael Streissguth, les cris de l’assistance ont été ajoutés en fait pendant la post-production, les prisonniers se gardant de manifester trop bruyamment pendant le concert, de crainte de représailles.
