The Royal Ballet
The Royal Ballet est une compagnie de ballet britannique fondée à Londres en 1928 par Ninette de Valois. Installée à l'origine au Sadler's Wells Theatre sous le nom de Sadley's Wells Ballet, elle s'établit en 1946 au Covent Garden et prend le nom de The Royal Ballet en 1957.
La Royal Ballet School lui est attachée depuis le début.
