Ross Cuthbert (1776-1861) est un écrivain, un avocat et un homme politique canadien. Il siégea à la Chambre d'Assemblée du Bas-Canada à plusieurs reprises et épousa la fille d'un signataire de la déclaration de l'indépendance.
Il publia Aréopage dans la ville de Québec en 1803 et New theory of the tides en 1810. Il avait hérité la propriété de deux seigneuries. Il est décédé à Berthier-en-Haut dans le Canada-Est en 1861.
