Roselea Arbana "Rose" Brogdon (née le 15 août 1925 à Boaz en Alabama - morte le 15 avril 1998 à Ashland dans l'Oregon était une chanteuse, compositrice et une violoniste de country music. Elle est surnommée "The Original Hillbilly Filly" et "The Grandmother of Rockabilly".
Maddox était la chanteuse de Maddox Brothers and Rose. En 1996 elle a reçu un Grammy award pour son disque $35 and a Dream. L'histoire de sa vie et celle de son groupe est racontée dans le livre Ramblin' Rose: The Life and Career of Rose Maddox de Jonny Whiteside. ISBN 0-8265-1269-0.
