Richard Amerike, Ameryk, ou ap Merrick ou encore Ap Meurig (vers 1445-1503) était un riche marchand anglais d'origine galloise qui, pense-t-on, finança l'expédition de John Cabot vers l'Amérique du Nord en 1497. L'histoire a surtout retenu son nom en raison de la théorie, minoritaire, que l'Amérique aurait été nommée d'après son nom de famille.
