Rachel Griffiths est une actrice, réalisatrice et scénariste australienne, née le 18 décembre 1968 à Melbourne (Australie).

Biographie

Elle a commencé sa carrière cinématographique au côté de Toni Collette dans le film Muriel. Elle tient le rôle de Brenda Chenowith dans la série télévisée Six pieds sous terre.

En 2006 elle obtient le rôle du directeur Gordon dans le film Sexy Dance au côté de l'acteur Channing Tatum.

Déjà maman d'une petite fille, Adélaïde Rose, née en 2006, et d'un petit garçon, Banjo Patrick, né en 2004, elle a eu une autre fille, Clementine[1], le 23 juin 2009.

Depuis 2006, elle tient le rôle de Sarah Walker dans la série à succès d'ABC Brothers and Sisters aux côtés de Sally Field ou encore de Calista Flockhart
