Providenia (en russe : Провидения) est une commune urbaine de Russie, dans le district autonome de Tchoukotka. En 2002, elle comptait 2 723 habitants, contre 5 432 en 1989.

Géographie

Providenia sur trouve sur le détroit de Béring, dans la baie de Providenia.

Histoire

Providenia était un port militaire soviétique. Il y a une école technique, un cinéma, une poste et un musée sur la culture et l'histoire de la région de Tchoukotka.
