Le poly(allylamine hydrochloride) est un polyélectrolyte chargé positivement à pH neutre grâce à son groupement amine. Il est notamment utilisé en association avec un polyélectrolyte négatif, pour la construction de films multicouche de polyélectrolytes (PEM).
