Place du Capitole (Rome)
La place du Capitole à Rome se trouve sur la colline du Capitole. Conçue en grande partie par Michel-Ange, elle est considérée comme l'une des plus belles places de Rome. On trouvait en son milieu une célèbre statue équestre de Marc-Aurèle, aujourd'hui remplacée par une copie. D'importants musées se trouvent dans les bâtiments qui bordent la place : les Musées du Capitole.
La place du Capitole est représentée sur la pièce de 0,50 € italienne.
