Armistice and Dedication Day est une pièce de théâtre américaine écrite par Robert B. Sherman, le futur gagnant de plusieurs Oscars pour ses talents d’auteur-compositeur.
En 1942, au sommet de l’intervention des États-Unis dans la Seconde Guerre mondiale, Sherman n’avait que 16 ans lors de sa première à Beverly Hills, au théâtre de Beverly Hills High School. La production lui valut un équivalent de plusieurs milliers de dollars en bonds de guerre lui valant une citation spéciale du Département de la Guerre des États-Unis.
Résumé
L’histoire est centrée autour des États-Unis des années 1940. Elle montre l’impact de l’attaque de l’Empire du Japon à Pearl Harbor le 7 décembre 1941.
