Peace, Love & Pitbulls est un groupe suédois de metal industriel fondé à Amsterdam en 1992 et dont le leader est Joakim Thåström.

Biographie

Joakim Thåström, devenu célèbre dans les années 1970 et 1980 avec ses groupes Ebba Grön et Imperiet, a quitté la Suède pour Amsterdam aux Pays-Bas où il a travaillé sur son projet PLP. Peace, Love & Pitbulls, avant sa séparation en 1997, a réalisé trois albums.

Influences

PLP est musicalement influencé par le groupe de musique industrielle allemand Einstürzende Neubauten. Un des groupe préféré de Joakim Thåström est le groupe de death metal suédois Entombed.

Même si PLP n'a pas eu de succès dans son pays d'origine, leur musique a été un influence pour beaucoup de groupes de rock industriel. Un des ces artistes est Marilyn Manson qui cite PLP comme source d'inspiration.
