Le partnership (terme anglais, littéralement, « partenariat ») est, au cricket, le total des runs (points) marqués alors que deux batteurs particuliers d'une équipe sont sur le terrain.

Définitions

Pour deux batteurs, le partnership est l'ensemble des runs marqués par leur équipe pendant qu'ils sont ensembles sur le sur le terrain[1]. Autrement, dit, les runs marqués par l'un et l'autre pendant cette période, mais aussi d'éventuels « extras ».

On parle de partnership pour le premier guichet (first-wicket partnership) pour les deux premiers batteurs de la manche (opening batsmen), partnership pour le deuxième guichet après l'élimination de l'un deux, et ainsi de suite jusqu'au dixième et dernier[1].
