Le Ottawa Bluesfest, fondé en 1994 est une célébration de musique Blues et Roots qui se déroule annuellement à Ottawa (Canada).
Historique
Il a été lancé en 1994 par Clarence Clemons. 5 000 personnes se rendirent au spectacle afin qu'elles contribuent à la création d'une tradition.
Depuis, près d'un million de personnes ont prêté l'oreille et ouvert leur cœur à certains des plus grands noms de l'industrie musicale.
En 1999, le programme lauréat Blues dans les écoles est inauguré. Des musiciens de blues sont invités à enseigner dans les écoles de la région.
