Openmoko est une plate-forme libre de smartphone, ainsi que le nom de la société qui le distribue.
Openmoko fut d'abord un projet de la société FIC associé à la production du Neo1973, avant de devenir une société à part entière début 2008[1].
Software
Motivée par l'esprit FLOSS, la plate-forme est issue de la distribution Linux Debian et utilise le système de gestion de paquets ipkg.

Neo1973
Le Neo1973 de FIC est le premier téléphone mobile utilisant Openmoko, et leurs développements sont étroitement liés : le téléphone utilise le logo Openmoko et est disponible sur le site d'Openmoko. Les deux produits sont pourtant bien distincts.
Neo FreeRunner
Le Neo FreeRunner est annoncé comme la version grand public du Neo 1973, qui n'aura finalement été commercialisé qu'à échelle réduite et à l'attention des développeurs.
