L’Université de Notre Dame du Lac est une université catholique à South Bend, Indiana aux États-Unis. Édouard Sorin, un prêtre français de la Congrégation de Saint Croix, l’a établie en 1842. De nos jours, l’université est peut-être considérée comme la plus prestigieuse parmi les universités catholiques aux États-Unis.
Les Notre Dame Fighting Irish constituent la branche sportive de l'université de Notre Dame. L'équipe de football américain de Notre Dame (13 titres nationaux) est la plus titrée des équipes universitaires américaines.
