Nightside était une alien créée par Marvel Comics. Elle est apparue pour la première fois dans X-Men #107, en 1977.
Origines
Nightside était une alien de race inconnue faisant partie de la Garde Impériale Shi'ar, la troupe d'élite de l'Empire extra-terrestre.
Elle combattit les X-Men et les Frères des étoiles à de maintes reprises, restant toujours fidèle au Trône.
Durant le crossover War of Kings, Nightside fit partie de la troupe menant l'assaut sur Hala, le foyer Kree, pour interrompre le mariage liant Ronan l'Accusateur à Crystal des Inhumains. Elle fut abattue par des soldats pendant la bataille.
Pouvoirs
- Nightside est une femelle faisant partie d'une race alien de l'Empire Shi'ar capable de générer des ténèbres extra-dimensionnelles. La matière sombre encerclant la victime donne l'impression d'une chute et provoque des cauchemars. Il est à noter qu'elle réprouve d'utiliser ses pouvoirs et a elle-même peur de l'obscurité.
- Elle utilise un jetpack pour se déplacer rapidement.
