Neste Oil est la compagnie pétrolière nationale de Finlande en charge du raffinage et de la commercialisation de produits pétroliers dans le pays. Elle est détenue à 50.1% par l'État finlandais, la partie restante étant quotée sur l'OMX Helsinki 25.
En tant que raffineur cherchant à augmenter sa production d'agrocarburant, Neste Oil utilise comme matière première de l'huile de palme en provenance de Malaisie où les pratiques agricoles ont été critiquées par des ONG environnementales[1].
