La Morris dance est une danse traditionnelle anglaise qui faisait partie autrefois des processions et autres fêtes célébrant surtout le mois de mai.

Elle est attribuée aux Berbères. Le nom Maures est devenu en anglais Morris.

Elle est apparentée aux moresques décrites par Thoinot Arbeau dans son Orchésographie en 1589 et, notamment, aux danses des căluşarii roumains et des rusalii macédoniens.
