Antimony est une localité américaine située dans le comté de Garfield, dans l’Utah. Lors du recensement de 2000, sa population s’élevait à 122 habitants. Densité : 4,7 hab./km² (12,1 hab./mi²). Superficie totale : 26,2 km² (10,1 mi²). Coordonnées géographiques : 38°5′45″N 111°58′23″O / 38.09583, -111.97306.
Histoire
En 1873, des hommes s’installent dans le cadre d’une mission de paix avec les Amérindiens Fish Lake. Le premier nom de l’endroit est Coyote, en raison des coyotes qu’ils trouvent dans les environs. En 1880, de l’antimoine (antimony en anglais) est découvert, d’où le nom de la localité.
