Mayawati Naina Kumari (née le 15 janvier 1956) est une femme politique indienne. Depuis le 13 mai 2007, elle est le ministre en chef de l'Uttar Pradesh (État le plus peuplé de l'Union indienne), poste qu'elle a déjà occupé à trois reprises. Mayawati, telle qu'on la surnomme sans jamais mentionner son nom de famille, est la première femme dalit (intouchable) à accéder à un poste de "Chief Minister" d'un État indien.
Accusée de corruption par l'opposition, elle fait l'objet de nombreuses plaintes dans ce sens.
