Matthew Dent est designer britannique.
Matthew Dent a conçu les faces 2008 de pièces britanniques, suite au concours organisé par la Royal Mint dès 2005.
Il a conçu un modèle original à partir des armoiries britanniques : chaque pièce de monnaie constitue une pièce du « puzzle » formant les armoiries (complètes sur la pièce de 1 Livre).
