Mats Gustafsson est un saxophoniste de jazz suédois, né en 1964 à Umeå, Suède.
Mats Gustafsson est un musicien de free jazz, très impliqué dans la scène free de Chicago, aux côtés de Hamid Drake, Michael Zerang et Ken Vandermark. Son influence musicale principale est celle de Peter Brötzmann[1].
