Mark Shapiro, né le 3 avril 1967 à Baltimore (Maryland) aux États-Unis, est manager général des Cleveland Indians depuis 2001.

Carrière

Diplômé en histoire à l'Université Princeton en 1989, il est engagé par la franchise des Cleveland Indians en 1991 sur les conseils de Hank Peters, ancien manager général des Indians. Il est nommé assistant de John Hart en 1989 et occupe ce poste jusqu'à la démission de ce dernier le 1er novembre 2001. Shapiro devient alors manager général des Indians.

Désigné dirigeant de l'année en 2005, il est recompensé du titre de manager général de l'année 2007 après la belle campagne des Indians lors de la saison 2007.
