Il a été le guitariste de Siouxsie and the Banshees lors d'un concert en 1976.
Il a été ensuite un membre à part entière d'Adam and the Ants et ce jusqu'au milieu des années 80.
Il a ensuite collaboré avec d'autres artistes dont Sinead O'Connor.
