Kakaki
Le kakaki ou kakakai est une trompe de trois ou quatre mètres de long utilisée par le peuple Haoussas dans la musique cérémoniale traditionnelle. Le terme kakaki est le nom utilisé au Tchad, Burkina Faso, Niger et Nigeria. L'instrument est également connu sous le nom waza au Tchad et au Soudan, et de malakat en Éthiopie.
Le kakaki vient à l'origine de la cavalerie Sonrhaïs et est traditionnellement exclusivement joué par des hommes. Cet instrument est associé à la royauté et est seulement joué lors d'évènement au Palais du Roi ou du sultan dans la société Haoussas.
