Anne Provoost (née le 26 juillet 1964 à Poperinge, Belgique) est une romancière flamande. Ne craignant pas les tabous, elle aborde dans ses livres des thèmes peu habituels tel que l'inceste ou le racisme. Peu connue dans le monde francophone car peu traduite, elle bénéficie d'un large succès en Flandre et aux Pays-Bas. Son dernier roman Regarder le soleil est paru chez Editions Fayard en 2009. Ses livres sont traduits en quinze langues. Son roman Le piège a été porté sur grand écran par Hans Herbots, dans le film Falling en 2001.
Anne Provoost est membre de l'Académie royale de Langue et Littérature néerlandaises kantl.be.
