Mouvement politique d’éducation populaire
Le Mouvement Politique d’Education Populaire est une organisation politique située à la gauche de la gauche. Elle a en particulier pour objectif une politisation de la société. Elle s'inscrit dans la lignée de la gauche antilibérale.
Ses porte parole sont Michèle Dessenne et Jacques Nikonoff, tous deux respectivement secrétaire générale et président d'Attac France de 2002 à 2006. Il a tenu son congrès fondateur le 24 mai 2008 en Seine-Saint-Denis.
Au moment de sa création, le M’PEP était composé de militants ou anciens militants de partis de gauche, d’associations, de mouvements altermondialistes ou de syndicats, ayant mené la bataille victorieuse du référendum sur le traité constitutionnel européen en 2005 et qui veulent donner un débouché politique à leur engagement[1].
