Lyle and Scott est une marque écossaise de la région des Borders créée en 1874. La société de textile produit des pull overs, polos, sportwear pour homme et femme. Le logo est un aigle Royal et a été porté par des musiciens comme les membres du groupe Arctic Monkeys et de Kasabian, le chanteur Pete Doherty ainsi que les présentateurs de télévision Tim Lovejoy, Dermot O'Leary, Max Halliday, Simon Amstell et Steve Jones.
Historique de la marque
Lyle & Scott a été fondée en 1874 dans la ville écossaise de Hawick par William Lyle et Walter Scott. La gamme de vêtements de golf est apparu en 1967 et a rapidement été porté par les meilleurs golfeurs tels que Tony Jacklin, Gary Player et Greg Norman ainsi que les amateurs de golf tels que Bob Hope et Ronnie Corbett. Le rajeunissement de la marque remonte à 2003 avec le lancement de la collection "Vintage" et son logo «Golden Eagle». Cette gamme de vêtements a été porté par de nombreux groupes indépendants et de présentateurs de télévision. Début 2009, Lyle & Scott a lancé la collection «Club», une ligne de golf visant les jeunes golfeurs.
