Léon Simon, né le 14 juin 1836 à Metz, mort le 23 novembre 1910 à Vaindeville est un peintre et dessinateur.
Il est élève d'Auguste Hussenot et d'Auguste Migette. Il débuta en exposant à Paris au salon de 1867. Ensuite il fut professeur de dessin à Metz. Familier du château de Colombey, il exposa surtout des dessins et fusains. Sa peinture concerne principalement des paysages.
