Leo the Last
Leo the Last (Léo le dernier) est un film britannique de John Boorman sorti en 1970.
Avec Leo the Last, John Boorman rentre en Angleterre et tourne enfin un film dont il a écrit le scénario.
Il réalisa son film en décors réels dans une rue de Notting-Hill Gate à Londres. Cet ancien quartier résidentiel était promis à la démolition, lorsque les producteurs du film obtinrent l'autorisation de tourner. En échange de cette autorisation, ils construisirent un terrain de jeu pour les enfants.
Synopsis
En observant des oiseaux avec une longue vue, Leo, un riche héritier découvre un quartier pauvre peuplé de noirs. Il décide de les aider, et en particulier Salambo, une jeune prostituée.
