Legend of the Mountain (山中传奇, Shan-chung ch'uan-ch'i) est un film taïwanais réalisé par King Hu, sorti en 1979.
Synopsis
Ho, un jeune étudiant, est chargé de traduire des sutras bouddhistes dont on dit qu'ils exercent un pouvoir sur les créatures de l’au-delà. Il se rend dans un monastère pour s'acquitter de sa tâche. Il rencontre des individus étranges : M. Tsui et son ami Chang, Mélodie une joueuse de tambour chinois, une vieille blanchisseuse et un flûtiste.
