Kentwood est une petite ville rurale de l'État de Louisiane. Elle se situe près de la frontière avec l'État du Mississipi. Elle se trouve dans la paroisse de Tangipahoa. Elle est peuplée par 2 205 habitants (2000).
Kentwood est aussi la ville natale de Jamie Lynn Spears. Sa sœur y a passé son enfance et y possède encore une résidence. La ville accueille d'ailleurs un musée dédié à la popstar.
