Keenneth Cook (1927-1987) est un journaliste, réalisateur, scénariste et écrivain australien. Né à Lakemba, en Nouvelle-Galles du Sud, il étudia à Fort Street High School. Il a fondé un nouveau parti politique ainsi que la première ferme de papillon en Australie. Il est mort d'une crise cardiaque.
Son roman, Wake in Fright, a été adapté en 1971 au cinéma par Ted Kotcheff sous le titre alternatif Outback.
