Sir John Lapli (1955- ) est un ancien gouverneur général des Îles Salomon. Il fut remplacé par Sir Nathaniel Waena.
Avant son élection comme gouverneur général en juin 1999, Lapli était premier ministre de la Province de Temotu[1]. Il a été pris en otage par des rebelles en 2000 et relâché après quelques jours.
Il est défait lors d'une élection en juin 2004 alors qu'il n'obtient que 6 des 41 votes du parlement[2].
