GoodSearch est un moteur de recherches créé par Yahoo qui donne la moitié de ses revenus, soit un penny par recherche, équivalent à quelques centimes d'euros, aux œuvres caritatives américaines choisies par ses utilisateurs.

La compagnie a été fondée par des diplômés de Stanford Ken et J.J. Ramberg après qu'ils eurent perdu leur mère, des suites d'un cancer. Ils ont créé GoodSearch comme un moyen de soutenir facilement leur cause favorite.

En Juillet 2006 plus de 15 000 organisations américaines à but non lucratif utilisaient déjà GoodSearch comme moyen de rendre visible leur organisme et de récolter des fonds.

Le site a été décrit dans le NY Times, Oprah Magazine, Wall Street Journal, et Fortune Small Business Magazine.

En 2005, les recherches sur GoodSearch ont permis de récolter près de 6 milliards de $ de revenus des annonceurs. Le but de GoodSearch est de diriger un pourcentage de ce revenu vers les bonnes causes. Ce que certains utilisateurs peuvent trouver gênant lors des recherches est la présence systématique de sites commerciaux dans les premiers résultats de recherche même s'ils concernent sa recherche ; c'est le prix à payer pour financer les œuvres de charité.
