Gilbert O'Sullivan, né Raymond Edward O'Sullivan le 1er décembre 1946 à Waterford (Irlande) est un auteur-compositeur et interprète irlandais. Sa popularité date de ses tubes Alone Again (Naturally) (en), Clair et Get Down. Il commence sa carrière aux côtés des futurs Supertramp.

Il est né en 1946 à Waterford, et sa famille a déménagé en Angleterre en 1960. Il obtient son premier succès à la fin des années 1970 avec "Nothing Rhymed". Dans Alone Again Naturally, Gilbert O'Sullivan raconte que son père est mort.
