Ghanzi est une ville du Botswana et le centre administratif du district de Ghanzi. Elle est située dans le désert du Kalahari, à 546 km au nord-ouest de Gaborone et à 66 km de la frontière de la Namibie. Sa population s'élevait à 10 795 habitants en 2001 [1].
Ghanzi est connue comme la « capitale du Kalahari ». La ville est aussi appelée Gantsi, qui est plus en concordance avec la langue nationale du Botswana, le setswana, Ghansi et Gantsi. Ghanzi est une communauté principalement agricole qui fournit au pays la majeure partie de sa production en viande.
