Synopsis

Une femme abandonnée par un mari obsédé par le jeu rencontre une Indienne qui l'embarque malgré elle dans une opération d'immigration clandestine entre les États-Unis et le Canada.
La frontière à cet endroit est marquée par une rivière gelée qui coupe en deux la réserve indienne ; il est donc possible de la franchir en voiture. La mère de famille recherche alors le bon plan pour payer le mobilehome neuf qui doit remplacer la carcasse qui lui sert de maison.
