Michel Vranckx

Né à Bruxelles en 1956, Michel Vranckx est un dessinateur de presse belge connu sous le pseudonyme de Franx. Il débute dans les pages du quotidien belge Liberté’s et collabore à différents hebdomadaires, mensuels et autres journaux d'entreprise belges et français (Actuapress, Librement, Père Ubu, Côté Mômes…)

Il a obtenu en 1992 les Crayons de porcelaine au festival du dessin de presse et de la caricature de Saint-Just-le Martel, en France.

Caricaturiste en événement à ses heures, il s'adonne depuis 1991 à la sculpture et a participé en 1993 au symposium des Arts de Baie-Comeau (Québec).

Depuis, les expositions se succèdent (galerie du Ratmort, galerie Dérapages, galerie Araxess, galerie Privée…). Techniques de prédilection : terre cuite raku et bronze.
