Francis Ysidro Edgeworth
Francis Ysidro Edgeworth (8 février 1845 – 13 février 1926) était un économiste et avocat irlandais. Il fait partie des plus importants représentants de l'École néoclassique.
Il est notamment l'inventeur de concept de courbe d'indifférence en microéconomie. Une courbe d'indifférence est le lieu géométrique de l'ensemble des paniers de biens procurant la même satisfaction au consommateur. Une boîte d'Edgeworth permet de représenter une répartition de ressources entre deux agents, et différentes courbes d'indifférence pour chacun d'entre eux.
