Synopsis

Bette Midler disait elle-même: qu'est ce que la guerre, sans une histoire d'amour ?

"The Boys" (les gars= les soldats) est donc bien une histoire d'amour ... de haine aussi ! Il raconte près de quarante années de deux vedettes du music hall qui parcourent les champs de bataille et chantent au profit des armées. Elle, voudrait percer dans la chanson. Les militaires eux, fascinés par la présence de la chanteuse n'ont qu'un espoir, être un instant près d'elle. Ce film conte simplement l'Amour de la Vie.
