- Ce disque a permis à Def Leppard de revenir aux sonorités qui ont fait son succès, après l'échec de Slang. Malgré tout, le disque fut un échec commercial complet (1,1 million d'exemplaires vendus).
- L'ancien champion du monde de Formule 1 Damon Hill joue de la guitare sur le titre Demolition Man.
- Back in Your Face est une évocation du groupe. Le texte parle d'un retour aux sources qui plaisent aux fans.
- Disintegrate est le premier instrumental du groupe depuis 1981. À l'origine, ce titre était une ballade nommée Spanish Sky mais après modification, le chant a disparu.
- La chanson Telephone n'est jamais sortie. Le groupe l'a toujours dans un coin.
- L'import japonais avait un titre bonus : I Am Your Child.
