Dans la mythologie des Aborigènes d'Australie, Eingana est une déesse créatrice et mère des animaux et humains. Elle est une déesse-serpent de la mort qui vécut dans le Temps du rêve. N'ayant pas de vagin, le dieu Barraiya dût lui transpercer le corps, près de l'anus pour qu'elle puisse accoucher. Eingana possède un lien avec chaque créature vivante. Si ce lien vient à être coupé, la créature attachée en meurt.
