ELAS à Ano Liosia
L’Armée populaire de libération nationale (en abrégé ELAS : Ellinikós / Ethnikós Laikós Apelevtherotikós Stratós, Ελληνικός / Εθνικός Λαϊκός Απελευθερωτικός Στρατός). L’ELAS a mené durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale sous le commandement du résistant communiste Áris Velouchiótis un combat acharné contre les troupes d’occupation allemande, italienne et bulgare et aussi contre les collaborateurs.
