Jack Kevorkian
Jack Kevorkian (Pontiac, 1928 -) est un pathologiste américain connu pour sa promotion du suicide assisté. Affirmant avoir mené 130 patients vers la mort, il a été condamné à une peine de prison de 10 à 25 ans.
Pour avoir pratiqué une euthanasie volontaire sur Thomas Youk sur l'émission 60 Minutes, il fut accusé de meurtre par le procureur de district. Son cas célèbre fut très médiatisé, même parodié dans plusieurs films et séries télévisées.
En 2008, il présenta sa candidature au Congrès américain après avoir purgé sa peine de prison.
Jack Kevorkian "le Docteur de la Mort" à 79 ans a été libéré d'une prison du Michigan après avoir passé 8 ans derrière les barreaux pour meurtre.
