Death By Kite est un groupe de post-rock originaire de Copenhague au Danemark.
Leur premier album est sorti le 16 avril 2007.
Le groupe est composé de:
- Bjørn Alexander Gøtzsche Lange (voix, guitare)
- Sidsel Marie Hermansen (basse, voix)
- Kristian Kimer (batterie, voix)
Leur style musical brute et tendue ressemble par moment à celui d'Interpol, groupe de rock américain.
Leur musique parlent de dépression et de malédiction amoureuse entre autres. L'album a reçu de bonnes critiques dans leur pays d'origine[réf. nécessaire], et commence petit à petit à gagner en audience en Europe de l'est. Le groupe a été invité à jouer cette année au festival de Roskilde.
